MODEL 601
Dual complex wavetable generator inspired by the Buchla 259 lineage, expanded with morphing waveshapes, V-PRO, fractal, spike, stretch and a larger modulation matrix.
Hardware and software audio instruments
The software version of MODEL 601 translates the Vienna Audio complex generator into a VST3 instrument. The prototype is designed as a 10x polyphonic version of the system, bringing the MODEL 601 architecture into a software environment while preserving its focus on wavetable transformation, modulation and timbral control.
The video documents the V-PRO function, where a central waveform can be pushed toward two processed extremes and all intermediate timbral states, interacting with the Spike and stretch functions.
Each card is named from its source subfolder in Touch / Synth modules. Images are taken from the corresponding module folder when available, using the direct module render such as 602.jpg or 609.jpg.
